Spice up your sneakers
Got too many sneakers in your wardrobe and looking for something more supreme? Upgrade your white sneakers at home – here’s how to easily boost them like a pro.
What you need: a brush, leather dye, tape, a sponge, a leather deglazer or nail polish remover, some newspaper, and optionally an acrylic sealer.
1. Put your sneakers on some newspaper to avoid any mess.
2. Tape your sneakers on the areas where you don’t want to paint.
3. Prep the areas you want to paint with a sponge and leather deglazer or nail polish remover to clean them and remove any residues.
4. Paint your sneakers with the leather dye of your choice.
5. Let the sneakers air dry. Allow 24 hours for the dye to dry before wearing the shoes.
6. Peel off the tape and finalize your design with a few touch-ups.
7. Apply an acrylic sealer for extra longevity (optional).
A whole new pair of kicks, right?
